Exceptional Connections NL was created by a group of parents to provide connected, safe, and welcoming activities for families to participate in. With all ages and all abilities in mind, we aim to provide an exceptional experience for our exceptional families in the neurodiverse and disability community! Our directors are volunteers who have a passion for inclusion and accessibility.
Our motto is “All ages, all abilities, all exceptionalities.”
We offer a variety of events and our Connections CLUB. These opportunities offer our exceptional friends and families a space to have fun together. We offer a judgement-free, inclusive space that is made for all ages, all abilities, and all exceptionalities.

We are so proud and honored to have been awarded one of two Community Group of the Year awards by the City of Mount Pearl! As a new nonprofit organization celebrating individuals with exceptionalities, neurodiversity, and disabilities, we were so humbled to have been awarded this! We are all about inclusion and accessibility, and the opportunity to be recognized and to get the word out there about what we do is heartwarming. We started with an idea to create the events our families were so desperate to see available, and we’ve grown into a beautiful thing that we’re so excited to continue growing. Thank you for choosing and supporting us 💕
We’re so excited for the new equipment and toys we purchased for ECNL events! We have 10 balance stepping stones, 10 large foam building structure blocks, wooden blocks, an 8 ft balance beam, many musical instrument toys, and a carnival set (cones, rings, and beanbags). There are lots of new things to add to the variety of toys we have for playtimes.
